The SHOC Foundation unites survivors, families, friends, researchers, physicians, and supporters to fund groundbreaking ovarian cancer research, raise awareness, and bring hope to women facing cancer. Through the SHOC Run & Walk, our community comes together to turn compassion into action and make every step count.
 

Founded by the late Sherie Hildreth, SHOC has invested more than $1.4 million into research and advocacy helping improve the future of women’s cancer care. Sherie’s strength and vision continue to inspire a growing movement dedicated to changing lives.
 

Together, we run for loved ones. We run for survivors. We run for progress, hope, and a future with better outcomes for every woman facing ovarian and other gynecologic cancer.

ABOUT THE SUNSET RUN & WALK

SHOC is thrilled to bring back the Run & Walk fundraiser!  

The first ever SHOC fundraiser was a fun run and walk during the summer of 2005. It became an annual event and our largest and most successful fundraiser. Now, after a five-year hiatus, the event returns, this time in collaboration with Hood to Coast.

Sunset Run & Walk features several options: a free 1K walk, in addition to a 5K, 10K, and two-person 10K relay. It's the perfect way to spend a summer night with friends, fresh air, and in support of a good cause.
