ABOUT THE SHOC FOUNDATION

In 2004, Sherie Hildreth received a life-changing diagnosis: ovarian cancer. Rather than allowing the disease to define her future, she chose to turn her fight into purpose.
 

She founded the Sherie Hildreth Ovarian Cancer (SHOC) Foundation to advance research, raise awareness, and bring hope to women and families facing ovarian cancer. Today, her courage and vision continue to inspire SHOC’s mission to accelerate progress toward a cure.
 

SHOC Foundation’s mission is to raise funds for research, increase public awareness, and provide survivors with resources and opportunities to feel empowered through their fight and beyond. We're a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization - Tax ID 56-2497219

ABOUT THE SUNSET RUN & WALK

SHOC is thrilled to bring back the Run & Walk fundraiser!
 

The first ever SHOC fundraiser was a fun run and walk during the summer of 2005. It became an annual event and our largest and most successful fundraiser. Now, after a five-year hiatus, the event returns, this time in collaboration with Hood to Coast.
 

Sunset Run & Walk features several options: a free 1K walk, in addition to a 5K, 10K, and two-person 10K relay. It's the perfect way to spend a summer night with friends, fresh air, and in support of a good cause.
